Peeking in on the neighbors!
Wednesday, May 11, SAB1950 visited the Eemshaven in Groningen. ‘Amsterdam IJmuiden Offshore Port’ organized a day at the port as part of ‘peeking at the neighbors’ that included many offshore wind activities.
After an inspiring presentation by Harm Post, director of Groningen Seaports, we were given a spectacular tour of the port. During the bus tour, the construction of the imposing Google data hotel was clearly visible. After the drinks, we were all presented with the wonderful book “Groningen from above” by the port director. A learning day to never forget!
