BuildingCareers in the picture for DecomMissionBlue
On Oct. 26 and 27, the Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference took place at RAI Amsterdam. During this congress, DecomMissionBlue was launched, the new partnership of AYOP members, which will work for sustainable dismantling and recycling of offshore installations and large maritime objects.
United in DecomMissionBlue are diverse players: BK Ingenieurs, Boskalis Netherlands, BuildingCareers, Koole Contractors/Decom Amsterdam, Mammoet, Port of Amsterdam, Reym, Seafox, Tata Steel and Van Leeuwen Zwanenburg Sloopwerken. There is a lot involved in sustainable decommissioning: project management and planning, preparation work, dismantling the objects, transportation to the site and recycling of materials…. And each partner plays its own role in the chain. Therefore, good cooperation and a strong network of involved parties is very important.
As part of the launch of DecomMissionBlue, all of the partnership’s partners will be coming through with their own partner vlog in the coming weeks. Today is our turn! Watch our video below. Want to know more? Contact us or check out the DecomMissionBlue website!
